What applies if I want to sublet my apartment?
If you live in a tenant-owned apartment (bostadsrätt) and want to sublet it, you must first obtain approval from the board. The processing time after the application has been received, regardless of apartment type, is approximately four weeks.

Who is responsible for the condition of the apartment and the monthly fee or rent?
- During a subletting period, you as the apartment owner are always responsible for ensuring that your tenant complies with the statutes and rules of conduct that apply in the association or property.
- You are also the recipient of invoices and responsible for ensuring that the monthly fee or rent is paid on time.
- If something needs to be repaired by a property caretaker, you as the owner must register a fault report and will be listed as the recipient for any charges.
How long can I sublet my apartment?
